Yogic Healing

How past life regression during a healing session corrected a child’s behaviour?
Nikhil* was a hyperactive boy brimming with all the antics of an eleven-year-old when he was brought by his parents for a Yogic Healing session. The parents were worried because their child’s performance at school was deteriorating and sought the help of many therapists and child psychiatrist. The teachers had observed that Nikhil was not able to focus like other children at class and often looked out the window. He was not comfortable maintaining eye contact with elders. At home, he was impatient and felt angered mostly. He would not cooperate with the home tutor or with his mother. On their visit to a child psychiatrist, they were informed that their child had ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity syndrome). Nikhil had to undergo many behavioural therapies after class hours. But this did not help him either. He still felt angry, found himself breathless many times and couldn’t concentrate on anything.
When he stepped in for a healing session, he was playful and smiling. He instantly liked us and was friendly. When we asked him to explain in his own words about his complaints, he shrugged his shoulders and said, “I don’t know. I find it difficult to focus on my subjects because something stops me from being able to concentrate. And I’ve come to you only because you wont give any injections!”
We assured him that Yogic Healing has nothing to do with pills or injections and started the session. As the session progressed, the Energy guided the healer’s hands to his brain. The healer had a vision at this point of the child getting breathless. On sensing this, more healing energy was channelled to specific brain centers. A past life regression shed more light on this incident – Nikhil was seen drowning at a pool and unable to breathe. The healer narrated this vision to the parents, who confirmed that there was indeed such an event when Nikhil was about seven years old. His sister who was present then added that Nikhil would always get scared of water and get restless thinking of this incident. Past life regression does not always mean that an incident from a previous birth is noted; a past incident from the current birth is also termed past-life regression.
Our finding was that the flow of prana was arrested during this incident and caused a minor block in some important brain centers. This is the reason why he felt suffocated most of the time. It also caused an emotional agitation and tension for Nikhil. He had tried to compensate feeling this way and tried to involve in more physical activities. This was seen as being hyperactive to others. After a week, he recovered completely and went back to being a happy, playful child. The parents said that he was more caring and gentle with everyone at home. His tutor noted a consistent and steady improvement in his studies, and his handwriting had become a lot more legible.
